2. Traffic Requests under St. Louis County jurisdiction – please review and provide your recommendations to the St. Louis County Highways and Traffic Department a) Request to improve pedestrian traffic conditions at the intersection of Delmar Blvd and Big Bend Blvd. Please find attached traffic request form submitted on February 4, 2010 by Martha Bhattacharya, resident at 7053 Stanford Ave, requesting the following: i) Alter the current walk cycle to an “all way stop” in order to allow pedestrians to cross safely in all directions without motion of cars. ii) Add an additional crosswalk across Delmar on the west side of Big Bend (to have direct access to Metrolink platform) and for the signal to be coordinated as an “all way stop”. b) Request to restrict parking on the south side of Delmar Blvd west of Donne Avenue. Please find attached traffic request form submitted on February 20, 2010 by Mr. Matthew Jaruzel, resident at 525 Donne Ave. Mr. Jaruzel is requesting a “no parking” restriction on the south side of Delmar Blvd starting on the west line of Donne Ave for 200 feet to the west. Currently, parking is restricted at all times on the south side of Delmar from the east line of Donne Avenue to North & South Road. c) Request to restrict parking on the south side of Delmar Blvd west of McKnight Place. Please find attached traffic request form submitted March 1, 2010 by Nick Walker, representing One McKnight Place. Mr. Walker is requesting the installation of No Parking signs on the south side of Delmar from McKnight Place to the existing bus stop to the west. 3. Approval of Minutes – February 10, 2010 meeting.
