Restrict parking during business hours on Pershing from Big Bend to first <br />driveway, south side. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br /> <br />? <br /> A Traffic Request Form was submitted by phone from Ms. Dilschneider to the <br />City Manager on June 10, 2003. She is requesting to restrict parking during <br />business hours on Pershing from Bid Bend to first Driveway on the south side. <br />This is to improve the safety of ingress/egress from commercial area to/from Big <br />Bend during Metro construction, until June 2005. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> <br />? <br /> Present were Phillip Berg, Benjamin Trujillo and Christine Thomas, representing <br />the business located at the beginning of the 7000 block of Pershing Ave. <br />? <br /> They are opposing to the request for no parking <br />? <br /> The Commissioners explained that this is just for general information and the <br />issue is going to be discussed on the Traffic Meeting on September 10, 2003. <br />? <br /> The business owners request information about record minutes, council votes, <br />and rights for U City business owners. The information would be provided <br />before the meeting on September 10, 2003. <br /> <br />4. Restrict parking on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from Wellesley to 100 <br />west of Rossi Ave. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br /> <br />? <br /> A Traffic Request Form was submitted by Larry Lieberman to the City Manager <br />on June 10, 2003. He is requesting “No Parking” on the north side of 7200 block <br />of Pershing (from Wellesley to 100 feet west of Rossi) .
