Whitley, Police Department <br /> <br />The attendance sheet is attached indicating the residents present at the meeting. <br /> <br />A. AGENDA ITEMS: <br /> <br />1.New crosswalk to be installed at the intersection of North & South Road and <br /> <br />Amherst <br /> <br />This item is for informational purposes, it will be followed up by St. Louis County. <br /> <br />2.Eliminate one-way system in alley behind Loop Businesses (Skinker to Melville) <br /> <br /> <br />Amy J. Trujillo, resident and business owner in University City proposed that the one <br />way system in the alley behind Loop Businesses (Skinker to Melville) be abandoned. <br /> <br />Currently, the Municipal Code states that traffic shall move in a westbound direction <br />only in the alley from Westgate Avenue to Melville Avenue, two hundred (200) feet <br />south of Delmar Boulevard. There is no restriction for the alley from Limits Avenue <br />to Melville Avenue, two hundred (200) feet south of Delmar Boulevard. The City <br />does not have jurisdiction over the alley from Limits Avenue to Skinker Avenue; this <br />alley is under St. Louis City jurisdiction. <br /> <br /> <br />The Traffic Commissioners voted unanimously to make no changes in the traffic <br />restrictions for the alley behind Loop Businesses (Limits to Melville). <br /> <br />They recommended that Limits Ave. (from Delmar to dead end) be changed to one- <br />way going north. <br />V:\WP51\Mariela-Projects\Traffic Commission\minutes\2005\Minutes 12-14-05.doc <br /> <br />
