<br />RES /0/005 A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />The matter of the engaging the services of a consultant to conduct an executive <br />search for qualified candidates for the position of City Manager was considered. <br /> <br />After discussion, Councilmember A~ rtful!.. S 1f/l,eP~ offered the <br />following resolution and moved its adoptIon. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council ofthe City of University City, Missouri, <br />finds and declares as follows: <br /> <br />1. City Manager Frank Ollendorffhas indicated a desire to retire no later than <br />July 14,2006. <br /> <br />2. Section 11 of the University City Charter provides that the City Council shall <br />appoint an officer who shall have the title of "City Manager." <br /> <br />3. The City has requested qualifications of consultants to conduct an executive <br />search for qualified candidates for the position of City Manager <br /> <br />4. The City Council has reviewed the qualifications and proposals of all <br />consultants responding to the request. <br /> <br />5. The Mercer Group, Inc. is the most qualified consultant, and has submitted the <br />best proposal. <br /> <br />6. The City Council desires to engage the services of the Mercer Group, Inc., as <br />set out in the attached Agreement, marked "Exhibit A" and incorporated <br />herein by reference. <br /> <br />7. The Mayor, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to enter into and <br />execute the Agreement and all documents in connection therewith.
