Tim will coordinate
with the City Engineer, Sinan Alpaslan and Jenny Wendt, Environmental Assistant.
v.A decision will go before City Council if there is a proposed expenditure greater than
$25,000. If there is a projected cost savings, the City Manager will make the decision and
report to City Council.
vi.Retrofits cost $100 per fixture, as per Ameren.
3.Joe Heneberry presented the Greenhouse Gas Inventory report.
a.Joe is an intern; his employment was paid by a Department of Energy grant.
b.Once the report is final, it will be presented to City Council.
c.Suggested sections: Community; Government/ Operations
d.Terminology suggestion: Be consistent in expression of “tons” (U.S.; = 2000 pounds) vs “tonnes”
(metric, = 2200 pounds).
e.The committee provided multiple comments to Joe.
