Ms. Ricci said Green Practices as a committee are moving forward with presenting to <br />Council for approval making it a commission. She also called to the Council’s <br />attention the larger number of Parks’commissioners whose terms will be expiring at <br />the same time and asked for Council suggestions. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe noted the Arts and Letters Commission is starting with the sculpture <br />series and their concert series has started. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch suggested Mr. Sharpe and Mr. Kraft to look the expiration terms of the <br />Parks’ Commission since they worked together to create the new appointment <br />system. Mr. Sharpe and Mr. Kraft agreed to do so. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch said she attended a meeting on the U City Olivette Joint Task Force <br />on redevelopment and they are revising and completing their final report. <br /> <br />M. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILLS <br />1. <br />BILL 9115 – An ordinance and fixing the compensation to be paid to City Officials <br />and employees as enumerated herein from and after its passage, and repealing <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 6845. <br /> <br />This Bill was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />Bill 9115 was postponed until next meeting according to vote on approval of agenda. <br /> <br />BILL 9117 - An ordinance clarifying and amending certain city ordinances relating to <br />the Olive Boulevard Central Tax Increment Financing Commission, District, and <br />Redevelopment Plan; ratifying the actions of the commission with regard to the plan; <br />accepting the transfer of assets from and dissolving the commission. Mr. Kraft <br />moved to pass Bill 9117 and was seconded by Ms. Ricci. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Tom Peters, 7025 Maryland Ave <br />Mr. Peters thanked Ms. Riganti for updating the minutes he spoke on at the previous <br />Council meeting. He said he still has two questions remaining on this bill: does any <br />other TIF Commissions exist at this time including the Kingsland TIF and it was his <br />understanding that things had to be rolled over from one TIF Commission to another, <br />so was unresolved on the dissolving of the TIF Commission with these details still <br />out there. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow said he had asked at the last Council meeting for a list of how many pieces <br />of property the City has purchased and the cost for each and before a vote is taken, <br />he would like to have an answer to his question and with the other questions Dr. <br />Peter’s asked, he felt this bill should be delayed. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci stated that Council has not considered anything else since the Economic <br />Retail Sales Board last year where all that information was provided which she <br />thought Mr. Crow was at. She asked Mr. Walker if there was anything else <br />purchased by the City since that meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker said he did not think the City purchased any property since that meeting <br />but would provide the information requested by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br /> <br />
