<br />Board of Adjustment <br />Minutes <br />June 15, 2011 <br />A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on June 15, 2011 in the EOC Room located in the <br />basement of City Hall. The meeting commenced at 6:30 pm. <br />Members Present Members Absent <br />John Solodar, Chairperson Mike Krivonak <br />Deborah Arbogast Fannye Houston <br />Peggy Holly <br />Mary Johnson <br />Kathy Straatmann <br />Staff Present <br />Andrea Riganti, Director of Community Development <br />Zach Greatens, Planner <br />Case #P100030 – 7346 Forsyth Boulevard <br />A.J. Girondo with Cochran Engineering, on behalf of Forsyth Condo Investments, LLC (property <br />owner), requested two variances: 1) to provide 14 parking spaces [including 8 existing basement <br />parking spaces] in lieu of the 15 spaces as required by Section 34-94.2 of the Zoning Code, and <br />2) to maintain the aisle width of a new parking lot at 12 feet in lieu of 22 feet for 90 degree <br />parking space arrangement as required by Section 34-92.5 of the Zoning Code. The variance to <br />provide 14 parking spaces in lieu of the 15 spaces required was approved by a vote of 5 to 0. <br />The variance to maintain an aisle width of 12 feet in lieu of 22 feet required was denied by a vote <br />of 5 to 0. <br />Case #P100032 – 8354 Braddock Drive <br />Gretchen and Richard Wesenberg (property owners) requested two variances: 1) to construct a <br />detached garage maintaining a side yard setback of three (3) feet from the side property line in <br />lieu of five (5) feet as required by Section 34-30.5.2.a(2) of the Zoning Code, and 2) to construct <br />a detached garage maintaining a distance of five (5) feet from the principal dwelling in lieu of <br />ten (10) feet as required by Section 34-55.1-3.b of the Zoning Code.
