<br />University City Civil Service Board <br />Minutes of Meeting of December 21, 2010 <br />1. Gerry Greiman, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Conference <br />Room 6, City Hall. <br />Members Present: Jan Adams <br /> David Damick <br /> Victor Pichon <br /> Phyllis Weber <br />Administration: Lehman Walker <br /> Janet Watson <br />Approval of Minutes <br />2. <br />Minutes of the meeting of December 2 were amended as follows: <br />Old Business, paragraph 3, delete the third word “noted” and substitute <br />“suggested” and add to the end of the first sentence “and copies of the minutes of <br />all meetings”. The minutes, as amended, were approved unanimously. <br />Public Comments <br />3. None <br />Old Business <br />4. <br />A. New Job Classifications. <br />After thorough discussions with the City Manager regarding the proposals, the <br />Board voted unanimously to approve the new job classifications as submitted. <br />B. Elimination of Classifications <br />After thorough discussions with the City Manager regarding the proposals, the <br />Board voted unanimously to approve the elimination of classifications as <br />submitted. <br />Ms. Adams requested that in the future the Administration attach the schedules <br />referenced in the proposals. Further, Ms. Adams reminded the Administration that <br />the Civil Service Rules require maintenance of various employee lists for re-hire, <br />etc., and other procedures and the rules should be followed carefully to avoid <br />further audits or lawsuits. <br />1 <br /> <br />
