The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, <br />Mr. Sharpe, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill Number 8422 passed and became <br />Ordinance Numbe~ 6202. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel introdL~ced a bill, entitled: <br /> <br />AMENDINC- CHAPTER 2.68 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO <br />MISCELLAIXlEOUS ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION <br />2.68.020 -[HEREOF, RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE <br />SERVICE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF ANEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION ;!.68.020 FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE," THEREBY <br />AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO INCREASE THE BASE FEE FROM THREE <br />HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300) TO THREE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($350) AND <br />THE FEE F(IR CERTAIN ADDITIONAL SERVICES FROM FIFTY DOLLARS ($50) TO <br />SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS ($65), AND SO AS TO IMPOSE A FEE OF FIVE DOLLARS <br />AND TWENYY-FIVE CENTS ($5.25) PER MILE FOR EACH TRANSPORT TO A <br />HOSPITAL; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill #8423. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman stat.~d that the Council has a scheduled meeting date of July 12, 1999. <br />Mr. Schoomer will De out of the country at this time and Mr. Sharpe and himself will be at <br />meetings in St. Jos,.~ph, Missouri on this date. Should this date be changed or canceled. <br />Mr. Wagner said that he believes he will be out of town on that date as well. Mayor Adams <br />recommended to the City Manager that this meeting be canceled. Mr. Ollendorff does not <br />see any problem wilh canceling that one meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer mov~d to cancel the meeting. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimousl,f. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman said that we have no meeting scheduled in September. Mr. Ollendorff said <br />that the City Clerk r-ointed out that the Council has to meet at least once per month and <br />the calendar shows no meeting scheduled. We should wait until August and see how <br />everyone's schedules are before deciding when to meet in September. There are a lot of <br />problems with Mon~lays in that month. Mayor Adams mentioned that a meeting could be <br />held on a Wednesd~y, if need be. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
