He said he would be opposed to this Council, without <br />any type of hearing, introducing a Charter change and submitting it to the <br />people. Fie pointed out further that from reading the bill, it appears to <br />him a number of people might be disqualified from running for Council. tie <br />said he would be in favor of each member of the Council recommending one <br />person so that a seven -member commission can be appointed to review any <br />portions of the Charter that the Council feels merits some review. <br />Councilman 4erner, however, felt that the Council should move with dispatch <br />
