THIS BILL WAS POSTPONED AT COUNCIL’S JULY 25, 2011 MEETING AND <br />ASKED THAT IT BE SENT BACK TO THE PARKS AND TRAFFIC COMMISSIONS. <br />1. BILL 9118 – <br />An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to parking restrictions for specific streets, by repealing Section <br />10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and <br />enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 parking <br />prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section so as to <br />restrict parking at all times on the west side of Melville Avenue thereof from Delmar <br />Boulevard to Kingsbury Avenue, and on the north side of Loop South thereof from <br />Melville Avenue to ninety (90) feet west; containing a saving clause and providing a <br />penalty <br />2. BILL 9125 <br /> – An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract <br />between the City of University City, Missouri and the Missouri Highways and <br />Transportation Commission providing for the replacement of the Jackson Avenue <br />pedestrian signal. <br />3. BILL 9127 - <br />.An ordinance and fixing the compensation to be paid to City Officials <br />and employees as enumerated herein from and after its passage, and repealing <br />Ordinance No. 6845. <br />4. BILL 9128 <br /> - (The US Department of Housing and Urban Development notified St. <br />Louis County that the CDBG agreement requires the Mayor’s signature. Mr. <br />Emergency Bill <br />Mulligan will be preparing and in order to meet their deadline for <br />submittal) <br />N. NEW BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />1. RESOLUTION 2011 – 12 <br />A resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a <br />Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Olivette for a housing and <br />urban development community challenge planning grant application. <br />BILLS TO BE INTRODUCED <br />2. BILL 9129 <br /> - An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract <br />between the city of University City, Missouri and the Missouri Highways and <br />Transportation Commission providing for sidewalk and curb ramp upgrades on 1200 <br />nd <br />through 1500 blocks of 82 Boulevard, 6500 through 6900 blocks of Etzel Avenue, <br />1000 through 1200 blocks of Kingsland Avenue, and 8600 through 9000 blocks of <br />Old Bonhomme Avenue. <br />3. BILL 9130 - <br />An ordinance amending Chapter 2.28 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to commissions, authorities, boards and committees generally, by <br />repealing Section 2.28.050 thereof, relating to the tax increment financing <br />commission, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section <br />2.28.050 Tax Increment Financing Commission”, thereby amending said section so <br />as to update it to reflect changes in state law. <br />4. BILL 9131 <br /> – An ordinance declaring the 6600 block of Bartmer and Crest Avenues <br />redevelopment area blighted under the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority <br />law; approving a redevelopment plan for the area; and finding that the redeveloper is <br />qualified for tax abatement. <br /> <br />
