profit corporation created in 1970, could continue to exist but would no longer be
responsible for day-to-day operations. For many years, Charlie Ochs was the
Board's full-time Executive Director. After Charlie died in 1999, volunteers
Herschel Asner and Sid Schneider performed some of the executive director
services, and with some paid staff and federally funded Title V workers, the
Board was able to continue operations. Representatives of University
City and St. Louis County Emergency Management Teams will be present to
discuss what was done to prepare for emergencies and to answer questions from
the audience.

City’s website
The graph below identifies activity or the “number of hits” on the
for the past year. As you can see it is an important communication tool for our
City with a 143, 583 hits in the past year. As we are moving forward with web
upgrades, I’ve included a web committee update from the IT Director. As I’ve
mentioned before, your ideas are welcome as we work together to enhance the
entire site for our residents, business owners and guests.

University City, Mo Website Top
Page Hits

July 2005 thru June 2006

Name Total Hits

University City, 143583
Missouri Website
City Council/City 92795
Administration
Economic 92672
Development
Fire Department 92632
Public Works 92536
Planning and 92486
Development
Police 92075
