<br />Approved <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting Notes – University City Bike and Walkability Task Force <br /> <br />July 5, 2011 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM <br /> <br /> <br />Location:University City Centennial Commons – Meeting Room <br />Attendees: Carol Wofsey, Sarah Hanly, Beverly Jane Spudich: David Shane; John Watson; <br />Lynnette Hicks; Visitors—; Kevin Neill, Trailnet; Kevin Neill, Trailnet; Timothy Breihan, <br />H3 Studios; Laura Ellen (NO QUORUM) <br /> <br />Invited Speaker: Timothy Breihan, H3. <br /> <br />1) Approval of agenda <br />Approved. <br /> <br />2) Approval of minutes of previous meeting and any admin issues <br />Approved <br /> with minor corrections. Will be resubmitted in August when we have a quorum. <br /> <br /> Discussion of whether to reschedule August meeting was not decisive; Carol to follow up via <br />e mail with entire group <br /> <br /> <br />3) Status of the Trailnet Master Plan; H3 and Trailnet report. <br />Timothy Breihan made a presentation and gave a handout on the draft of the first part of the Master <br />Plan. Titled “Task Force Meeting 02 Handout” it focuses on Project Goals, Design Principles and a <br />Vision Statement. A copy is attached to these minutes and was made available electronically after <br />the meeting to those who did not attend this meeting. Mr. Breihan will attempt to attend our next <br />meeting in order to further explain the plan and gather our input. The draft is to be presented at the <br />next planning commission meeting. <br /> <br />4) Sarah reported that several members of the Task Force visited the GRG office on June 9 and <br />were shown the complete path of the Centennial Greenway as currently proposed. Subsequently, <br />Ewald Winkler of the U City Parks Dept. delivered a copy of the plan on disc to Carol Wofsey and it <br />will be kept with the Task Force’s records. <br /> <br /> <br />5) Reports on walk/bike related actions in u City <br /> Carol reminded members that the GRG ribbon-cutting will be held at Ackert Plaza on July 29 <br />and urged members to attend. Sarah noted that both she and Jane have attended commission <br />meetings on the proposed development at Delmar and 170 <br /> <br />There being no further time, and no quorum for taking action, the meeting then closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
