<br />Board of Adjustment <br />Minutes <br />July 20, 2011 <br />A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on July 20, 2011 in the EOC Room located in the <br />basement of City Hall. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes from the June 15, 2011 Board of Adjustment meeting were approved. <br />2. Case #P100036 – 7215 Cambridge Avenue <br />Tim Rowbottom (property owner) requested three variances: 1) to construct a building addition <br />maintaining a rear yard setback of twenty-eight (28) feet in lieu of thirty (30) feet as required by <br />Section 34-30.5.2.a(3) of the Zoning Code, 2) to construct a detached garage maintaining a side <br />yard setback of one (1) foot in lieu of five (5) feet as required by Section 34-30.5.2.a(2) of the <br />Zoning Code, and 3) to construct a detached garage maintaining a distance of five and one-half <br />(5.5) feet in lieu of ten (10) feet from the principal dwelling as required by Section 34-55.1-3.b <br />of the Zoning Code. <br />The variance to maintain a rear yard setback of no less than twenty-eight (28) feet was approved <br />by a vote of 5 to 0. The variance to maintain a side yard setback of no less than three (3) feet for <br />a proposed detached garage was approved by a vote of 5 to 0. The variance to maintain a <br />distance of five and one-half (5.5) feet between the proposed detached garage and the principal <br />dwelling was approved by a vote of 5 to 0. <br />
