Bill Re: Rezoning of 965 Midland Page 32 of 3 <br />INTRODUCED BY: DATE: September 18, 2006 <br /> <br />8908 <br />BILL NO ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION <br />TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS <br />AT ALL TIMES,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT <br />ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTHBOUND JACKSON AVENUE FROM THE <br />ALL TIMES <br />SOUTH LINE OF DARTMOUTH AVENUE TO THE NORTH LINE OF TULANE AVENUE. <br />AND ON THE EAST SIDE OF SOUTHBOUND JACKSON AVENUE FROM THE SOUTH <br />LINE OF DARTMOUTH AVENUE TO THE NORTH LINE OF TULANE AVENUE <br />; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking <br />restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, <br />relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a <br />new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all <br />times,” thereby amending said section so as TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON <br />THE WEST SIDE OF NORTHBOUND JACKSON AVENUE FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF <br />DARTMOUTH AVENUE TO THE NORTH LINE OF TULANE AVENUE. AND ON THE EAST <br />SIDE OF SOUTHBOUND JACKSON AVENUE FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF DARTMOUTH <br />AVENUE TO THE NORTH LINE OF TULANE AVENUE; so that said section, as so amended, <br />shall read as follows: <br />Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of <br />vehicles is prohibited at all times: <br />Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: <br /> For noncommercial <br />vehicles, from the west sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet west <br />thereof, and from the east sidewalk line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet east <br />thereof. <br />AlleyNorthof Loop North: <br /> Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland <br />Avenue to Leland Avenue. <br />Appleton Drive: <br /> North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a <br />distance of sixty (60) feet. <br />AsburyAvenue: <br /> East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. <br />AmherstAvenue: <br /> Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of <br />Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br />Bartmer Industrial Drive: <br /> Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer <br />Industrial Drive to a point eighty-five (85) feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty- <br /> <br /> <br />
