<br /> <br />12. Flags of the United States of America, states, cities or other regional or national <br />governmental flags. <br /> <br />13. Other Flags: <br /> <br />a. Residential: <br /> <br /> (1) Types: <br /> <br /> (a) Plain flags (of any color), and/or <br /> <br /> (b) Flags with noncommercial design elements including insignias, emblems, <br />logos commonly used for decorative, seasonal, sports, or school <br />identification purposes. <br /> <br /> (2) Limitations: <br /> <br /> (a) This section applies only to occupants of a building with an approved <br />occupancy permit, and further only to those that occupy the ground floor of <br />the building with street frontage. <br /> <br /> (b) No off-premises advertising shall be permitted as a flag under this section. <br /> <br />b. Commercial: <br /> <br /> (1) Types: <br /> <br /> (a) Plain flags (of any color) when displayed on commercial zoned property, <br />and/or <br /> <br />(b) Flags with design elements including primary sign information, insignias, <br />emblems and logos commonly used by and associated with the business or <br />organization when displayed on commercially-zoned property. Copy <br />(beyond insignias, emblems, ad logos) on such flags shall be limited to that <br />permitted under Section 34-102, “Definitions” for identification signs in his <br />chapter. <br /> <br />(2) Limitations: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
