6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314)862-6767 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 6, 1999, the School District of University City will submit a <br />$8,150,000 bond issue to the voters of University City, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bond issue submitted by the School District of University City is for the <br />purpose of building additions; improvements to and repairing, maintaining, renovating, <br />and furnishing existing school buildings and grounds; and purchasing equipment for the <br />School District, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned purposes are worthy goals which will benefit all children <br />in the University Cily Schools, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of University City recognizes that the public school system <br />is a priceless asset in our community, and that maintaining and improving its buildings <br />and grounds is of prime importance to the well-being of the community, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of University City <br />wholeheartedly supports the bond issue submitted by the School District and will urge <br />every voter to approve it on April 6, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />
