<br /> <br />A motion that the Bike Facilities Committee presentation be incorporated into the H3 <br />Master Plan prior to the October 26th Plan Commission presentation was made by <br />Beverly Jane Spudich and seconded by Linda Fried. The motion was approved. <br /> <br />Pedestrian Safety issues discussed. The committee members will be Sarah Hanly, <br />Margaret Johnson, Jane Schaefer and Beverly Jane Spudich. <br /> <br />7) Other business – brief recap of potential Loop bike rack installation. <br /> <br />8) Planning for October 26th Plan Commission meeting: <br />a) Margaret Johnson and/or Sarah Hanly will provide a brief introduction/synopsis of <br />the Bike and Walkability Task Force <br />b) Bike Facilities Committee presentation as approved be incorporated into the H3 <br />Master Plan prior to this meeting <br />c) Bike and Walkability Task Force members encouraged to attend. <br /> <br />9) New Business: <br />a) Discussion of potential Bicycle Rules of the Road compilation/inclusion in <br />Missouri Department of Revenue Driver Guide. (September 2009 edition <br />provided by Arno Perlow) <br />b) Discussion of the potential continuation of the Bike and Walkability Task Force <br />Committee in some format thereof beyond the current dissolution date <br /> <br />10) Action Items: <br />a) Sarah Hanly and Margaret Johnson will meet with H3 to discuss incorporation of <br />the Bike Facilities Committee presentation into the H3 Master Plan prior to the <br />October 26th Plan Commission <br />b) Margaret Johnson plans on submitting the Complete/Livable Streets Draft for <br />presentation to City Administrator Lehman Walker by this Friday, October 4, <br />2011 <br />c) Linda Fried will contact the University City Police Chief to discuss public <br />awareness of Safe Routes to School issue(s) <br /> <br />11) The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />www.ucitymo.org <br /> <br />
