<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR SESSION <br />June 21, 2010 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the EOC Room of the City Hall, <br />due to lack of elevator service, on Monday, June 21, 2010, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the <br />meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price, <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Stephen Kraft <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were Interim City Manager Janet Watson and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br /> <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br />1. <br />Proclamation to the University City High School Boy’s Track Team was presented by Mayor <br />Welsch and signed by the entire Council <br />2. <br />Proclamation to Alex Kelley for University City High School for perfect four year attendance <br />was presented by Mayor Welsch and signed by the entire Council. <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br />May 24, 2010, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe and carried <br />unanimously <br />2. <br />June 7, 2010, Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />G. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br /> <br />1. <br />Richard Dockett, 6844 Crest Ave <br />Mr. Docket noted he was opposed to having the City Attorney under the direct control of the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />2. <br />Mr. Klearman, 739 Bererac Dr. <br />Mr. Klearman asked to gather all local managers of municipal golf courses to meet and <br />discuss best practices in order to reduce possibility of deficits. <br />He was referred to Ms. Nancy MacCartney <br /> <br />H. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />I. CONSENT AGENDA <br />All Items were pulled from the consent agenda for discussion <br />1. <br />Parking Lot #1 (next to the Tivoli) – Pavement repair project <br />Mr. Kraft asked to postpone vote until June 28, 2010 study session. <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
