RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Our city supports safe travel for all Missourians, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Proposition A will provide safer travel on all Missouri roads, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Proposition A will help law enforcement entities throughout Missouri <br />identify and locate emergencies on our highways, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Proposition A will be paid for by a modest monthly fee applicable only to <br />wireless phone customers, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that University City be on the record in <br />support of: <br /> <br /> PROPOSITION A <br /> <br />and urge all Missourians to support the issue when it appears on the statewide ballot on April 6, <br />1999. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that our city hereby gives permission to the Missourians <br />for Safety on the Road to publicize our city's support of this measure on all ads, brochures and <br />campaign materials. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 1999. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
