Approval of Minutes September 14, 2011 <br /> <br />Commissioner Brot made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 14, 2011 <br />Traffic Commission meeting, seconded by Commissioner Smith and unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. Great Rivers Greenway Project – Centennial Greenway Trail from Shaw Park to <br />Olive Boulevard <br /> <br />Commissioner Henderson invited Patrick Owens from the Great Rivers Greenway (GRG) <br />to address the Traffic Commission. <br /> <br />Patrick Owens showed a presentation describing the project that is scheduled to start <br />construction next spring of 2012. The proposed project consists of a 10 foot wide concrete <br />trail located primarily in the abandoned railroad corridor owned by Metro running parallel to <br />Interstate 170 on the east side of the highway. The trail originates in the City of Clayton’s <br />Shaw Park and continues north along the abandoned railroad corridor to Ladue Rd <br />entering into the City of Ladue.
