<br />Meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees for the University City Public Library <br />July 22, 2011 <br /> <br />Attendance <br />Members Present: <br />Susan Glassman, Luise Hoffman, Joy Lieberman, Larry Nolan, <br />David Stokes, William Baldwin <br /> <br /> <br />Library Staff: <br />Patrick Wall-Director <br /> <br />___________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />A meeting of the University City Public Library was called to order at 5:35 PM by Larry Nolan, <br />President. The meeting was called to discuss the budget. <br /> <br />There were six line items on the budget that were not reflective of the true amounts. Patrick <br />asked the board to pull down those budget lines and to adjust up other budget items. <br /> <br />Part-time salaries are overspent each month and a discussion was had regarding part-time <br />employees and overtime. A motion was made for Patrick to study employment patterns and <br />possible changes to the scheduling system. <br /> <br />A motion was made and passed to allow for an adjustment on line items when the actual amount <br />exceeds the budget amount by $2,000 or more. <br /> <br />The next meeting is scheduled for September 21, 2011, rather than September 14, 2011. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:04 PM <br /> <br />Deborah Arbogast-Board Secretary <br />
