SESSION 1668 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 3, 1996 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of City Hall on <br />Monday, June 3, 1996, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to <br />the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Lawrence Lieherman. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE -..THIRD WARD COUNCILMF. MBER HARDY WARE <br /> <br />Mayor Adams administered the oath of office to newly appointed Third Ward Councilmember Hardy <br />Ware. There was a round of applause as Mr. Ware took his seat on the dais. Mayor Adams welcomed <br />Mr. Ware to the Council as did Mrs. Thompson as her fellow Third Ward Councilmember. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />May 6, 1996 - Regular Meeting <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the May 6, 1996, minutes as submitted. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />May 13. 1996 - Budgat Meeting <br />Mr. Schoomer moved that the minutes of May 13, 1996, be approved as submitted. Mr. Wagner sec- <br />onded the motion, which carded unanimously. <br /> <br />May 15. 1996 - Budget Meeting <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval of the May 15, 1996, minutes as submitted. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Deborah Geibel, recently appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission, and Mr. Gregory Alan <br />Barnes, newly appointed to the Traffic Commission, were given the oath of office by the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
