Melville Avenue – Special Parking needs <br /> <br />Please find attached traffic request form submitted on November 23, 2011 by Jessica <br />Bueler, President of the Loop Special Business District, requesting review and revision of <br />the parking configuration of the Melville Avenue – Delmar Blvd. area to help ease parking <br />problems voiced by many business owners in the concerned area of the Delmar Loop. <br />The City’s Traffic Engineering consultant Lee Cannon from CBB will make a presentation <br />with the recommended locations for Loading Zone, Disabled and Special Events parking. <br /> <br />3. Request for a No Parking Zone on Jackson Avenue South bound (curb lane), <br />south of Balson Avenue <br /> <br />Please find attached traffic request form submitted on October 31, 2011 by Karl Scheidt, <br />Executive Director of Operations, School District of University City, requesting designation <br />of a No Parking Zone along the curb line of Jackson Avenue (southbound), south of its <br />intersection with Balson Avenue. The requested times/days for the parking restriction are <br />from 7:30am – 9:30am and from 2:30pm-4:30pm, Monday – Friday and the purpose is <br />loading and unloading of school busses. <br /> <br />4. Request for a parking restriction on Lindell Avenue north of Forsyth Blvd or <br />parking allowed only for compact vehicles. <br /> <br />Please find attached traffic request form submitted on November 17, 2011 by Marla <br />Friedman, resident at 7350 Lindell Blvd, Apartment 304, requesting a parking prohibition <br />or restriction for use of only compact vehicles on the straight-in parking stalls on Forsyth <br />Blvd., in front of the businesses at the 7350 Lindell Blvd building.
