Resolution 2011 - 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION PROVIDING COUNCIL'S APPROVAL FOR FIREHOUSE NO 1 FUNDING <br /> WHEREAS, FEMA has given final approval for University City to be awarded a grant to <br /> help fund a new fire house; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council agreed to fund a matching of$200,000 at their September 20, <br /> 2010, Council meeting, to be allocated in Fiscal Year 2012. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of University <br /> City, Missouri, that the following represents Council's approval for the additional funding <br /> needed to construct Firehouse No. 1 at Vernon and Westgate: <br /> • Federal Grant Funding $2,612,197 <br /> • Grant match previously authorized by Council $ 200,000 <br /> (from 2012 General Revenue) <br /> • Money borrowed from Reserves $ 674,494 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that money borrowed from the Reserves will be paid <br /> back to the Reserves from General Revenue as follows: <br /> Fiscal Year 2013 $100.000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2014 $100,000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2015 $100,000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2016 $100,000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2017 $100.000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2018 $100,000 <br /> Fiscal Year 2019 $ 74,494 <br /> Adopted this 10th day of October, 2011. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> rk '. <br />
