An inventory of art that is owned by and on loan to the library is being conducted. The purchase of a small collection of Xbox and Wii games is being considered. Both Kirkwood and Ferguson have had success with their gaming collections. The library has loaned out popular DVDs and is exploring the popularity of lending games. One of the advantages is that kids that may not be able to afford them have the chance to play them. Only games for everyone and for teens will be purchased and the number will depend on the budget. Once a month gaming nights draw teens into the library. The board will discuss this. Approximately 20 recycling. Stolen items were returned to the library after reportedly being purchased at a yard sale. The University City police located the culprit who was a juvenile and is no longer in the area. Full restitution will likely not be possible. The library holiday party will be Saturday, December 5 at 5 PM. The parking lot has been patched and will be sealed in the spring. There has been an email complaint regarding pedestrian traffic on the parking lot. Council Liaison Councilman Kraft reported a personnel change- and is now employed by Clayton. Tina will be handling the budget. The Budget committee is scheduled to meet on November 16. The Personnel committee should meet in December or early January, prior to the budget review. Committee Reports going to be obtained for the cooling tower recoating and core replacement.
