The <br />Resolution (see pages 5-6) contained five “first steps” approved by City Council, <br />which are summarized below along with status updates. <br />1. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory <br /> Underway, funded by an $8,000 Department of Energy grant <br />2. Energy audits of City facilities <br /> To be added to City budget; estimated fee is between $20,000- <br />$25,000 <br />3. Sustainable design guidelines and expected return on investment for projects <br /> No cost; this is a policy decision <br />4. Street lighting analysis <br /> Underway, funded by a $140,000 Department of Energy grant <br />5.
