<br /> <br />Board of Adjustment <br />Minutes <br />January 18, 2012 <br /> <br />A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on January 18, 2012 in the EOC Room in the basement <br />of City Hall. The meeting commenced at 6:30 pm. <br /> <br />Members Present Members Absent <br />John Solodar, Chairperson Fannye Houston <br />Mike Krivonak Deborah Arbogast <br />Peggy Holly Kathy Straatmann <br />Mary Johnson <br />Roger McFarland <br /> <br />Staff Present <br />Ray Lai, Deputy Director of Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development <br />Zach Greatens, Planner <br /> <br />1. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes from the September 21, 2011 Board of Adjustment meeting were approved. <br /> <br />2. Case # 11-03526 7346 Forsyth Boulevard <br />Derek Kessler with Thomas Realty Group, LLC, on behalf of Forsyth Condo Investments, LLC, <br />requested a variance to maintain the aisle width of a new parking lot at 18 feet in lieu of 22 feet <br />for 90-degree parking space arrangement as required by Section 34-92.5 of the Zoning Code to <br />serve the existing multi-family residential development in the GC General Commercial <br />District. The variance was approved by a vote of 4 to 1 with the following conditions: a Site <br />Plan shall be submitted for review to the Department of Community Development, a recorded <br />perpetual agreement for a five (5) foot easement for the five (5) foot wide paved area on 7347 <br />Northmoor Drive shall be executed; and the dumpster serving 7346 Forsyth Boulevard and 7334 <br />Forsyth Boulevard shall not have more than 50 percent of it located on 7346 Forsyth Boulevard. <br /> <br />3. Election of Officers <br />John Solodar was nominated to serve as the Chairperson. A motion was made by Mr. Krivonak <br />to approve the nomination. The motion was seconded by Ms. Johnson. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Deborah Arbogast was nominated to serve as the Vice-Chairperson. A motion was made by Ms. <br />Johnson to approve the nomination.
