<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />February 27, 2012 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, on <br />Monday, February 27, 2012, Mayor Shelly Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. In <br />addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Lynn Ricci <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. L. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price was excused. <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker said the fourth line of Bill 9151 should read: “Series 2003” instead of 2004. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved amended Bill 9151 to reflect the change, was seconded by Ms. Ricci and <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br /> E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. The minutes of February 13, 2012, City Council Study session was moved for approval by <br />Mr. Sharpe, was seconded by Mr. Crow and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The minutes of February 13, 2012, City Council Regular session was moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br />Ed Mass was sworn in to the Parks Commission in the City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br />Tom Sullivan, 751 Syracuse <br />Mr. Sullivan spoke about the street light outages in the City. He noted there are still quite a <br />few that needed to be replaced at locations of Kingsland and Olive and the intersection of <br />Clemons and Inner Drive. Mr. Sullivan again asked for the cost of the Internal Audit due to the <br />additional time the auditors had to spend. Mr. Sullivan again inquired about the services of <br />Crosby & Ormsby for the City’s Prosecuting Attorney due to their lack of previous experience. <br /> <br />Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br />Ms. Glickert said that she represented two organizations for the City: the Historical Society <br />th <br />and the Sutter Meyer Society.
