<br />RES032006 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />The matter of the Manual on Uniform Traffic and Control Devices (MUTCD) was <br />considered. <br /> <br />After a review and general discussion of this matter, Councilmember Sharpe, Jr., <br />offered the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri, finds and <br />declares as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Department of Public Works is seeking accreditation of the Department <br />through the American Public Works Association. This process will provide a <br />systematic review of the policies and practices in the Department. <br /> <br />2. The Public Works Department follows the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control <br />Devices (MUTCD) as a guide to ensure consistency in the use and placement <br />of traffic control devices. <br /> <br />3.
