SESSION 1659 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 5, 1996 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of City Hall <br />on Monday, February 5, 1996, Mayor Joseph L. Adams presided and called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember George R. Cotton, who was excused. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the January 22, 1996, minutes as submitted. Mrs. Schuman seconded <br />the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT. gF. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Mr. Jerry Kornegay, 365 Alta Dena Court, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for an unexpired term ending September 9, 1998. Mr. Schoomer seconded <br />the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman moved that Mr. Thomas Cobb, 797 Yale, be reappointed to the Municipal Commission <br />on Arts and Letters for a term expiring January 2, 2000. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved the reappointments of Ms. Susan Glassman, 8310 Gannon, and Ms. Muriel <br />Peniston, 7360 Westmoreland, to the City Plan Commission for terms expiring January l, 1999. Mrs. <br />Sehuman seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR (TWO ITEMS) <br /> <br />Utility Tractors (#1). Invitations to bid on the purchase of two utility tractors for the Central Garage, <br />including trade-in on two 1984 Massey Ferguson tractors, were sent to five companies, with the fol- <br />lowing response: <br /> <br /> <br />
