<br /> <br /> MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />April 23, 2012 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, on <br />Monday, April 23, 2012, Mayor Shelly Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. In addition <br />to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Lynn Ricci <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. L. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> Mayor Welsch noted that May 19, 2012, will be declared the second National Kids to Parks <br />Day which was organized and launched by the National Parks Trust, encouraging families to <br />visit the parks and introduce a new generation to the many Nation’s Parks. <br /> <br /> E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. The minutes of April 9, 2012, City Council Study session was moved for approval by <br /> Ms. Ricci, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. The minutes of April 9, 2012, City Council Regular session was moved for approval by Mr. <br />Glickert, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br />Tom Sullivan, 751 Syracuse <br />Mr. Sullivan spoke about the lack of response he has received from a request he previously <br />made <br /> <br />Nova Felton, 8031 Noel Ct. <br />Ms. Felton congratulated the three councilmembers Mr. Terry Crow, Ms. Paulette Carr and Mr. <br />Sharpe for their victories in the election. <br /> <br />Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br />Ms. Glickert spoke about the public hearings on the Loop Trolley going through University City <br />but not having a public hearing in University City City Hall for the City’s residents. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
