Prior
to that, Watson held administrative finance positions with the St. Louis County
Department of Human Services, the State Department of Social Services and the
State Department of Revenue. There were $8.7 million in grant
requests in the application process and less than half of that was granted –thank
you to the Parks Division for their excellent planning and grant writing, which will
bring a much-needed service to our residents. Next year will prove to be a busy
in Heman Park with the grant for the trail addition, and now, new lighting.

Joan Bray forwarded a letter this week inviting Council to attend a meeting with
the Highway 40/64
MODOT, St. Louis City and St. Louis County regarding
construction schedule
. I have attached the minutes from the last meeting of the
standing regional Hwy 40 Construction meeting group along with Ms. Bray’s
invitation.
