<br />Mayor’s Task Force on University City’s Bike & Walkability <br /> <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 862-6767, Fax: (314) 863-9146 <br />DRAFT <br />Meeting Notes –University City Bike and Walkability Task Force <br />June 5, 20126:30 PM to 8:00 PM <br />Location:University City Centennial Commons –Board Room <br />Attendees:John Watson;Beverly Jane Spudich; Margaret Johnson; Carol Wofsey, Linda Fried; <br />Lynette Hicks(City of University City); Sarah Hanly;Arno Perlow; Jane Schaefer; Jerry <br />Breakstone; Beverly Jane Spudich <br />1) Approval of agenda <br />Approved. <br />2) Approval of minutes of previous meeting and any admin issues <br />Minutes of May 21 approved, subject to correcting typos. <br />3)Report on walk/bike action in U City <br />Carol remindedeveryone of the Walk/Live St Louis 2012 event and invited participation at the <br />event, which will include a walk audit around the new Pershing School. <br />4)Complete Streets legislation <br />Lynette reported it had been approved by counsel with minor changes and could be included in <br />the City Council study session. <br />5)Review and Discussion of draftTask Force report <br />Margaret distributedadditional copies of the draft report she had sent out via e mail on June 3, <br />2012 (copies attached). Discussion and minor changes were suggested.Upon motion made by carol, <br />seconded by Sarah, the report with such minor adjustments was unanimously approved. Margaret will <br />make sure the report with revisions is sent to Lynette for review and postingin advance of the Study <br />Session withCity Council on June 24, 2012. Everyoneis urged to attend that session. <br />There being no furtherbusiness, the meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM. <br />
