Minutes of the previous meeting (January 19, 2012) were accepted as written. <br /> <br />2. 863 Westgate Avenue The applicant, Roy Mangan with Archimages, provided an <br />overview of the proposed new construction. The current proposal is for the new fire <br />station at the northwest corner of Vernon Avenue and Westgate Avenue. The proposed <br />building will be of brick construction with stone banding around the building. Also <br />proposed, tinted glazing of windows, short canopies near the entry, screening on the <br />roof. <br /> <br />Mr. Myers asked if the same materials will run along all four sides of the building. Mr. <br />Mangan stated that the intent is to cover all four sides of the building unless there were <br />any issues with cost. <br /> <br />Mr. Myers also asked about the material of the cornice and the signage.
