SESSI~ 1656 <br /> <br />MINUTES OFTHEUNIVERSITYCITYCOUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 11, 1995 <br /> <br />At a regular~-tingoftheCity~il of UniversityCityheld in tb~Ommn- <br />cil Chamber of City Hall on Monday, F~c~e~ 11, 1995, Mayor Janet Majerus <br />presided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the following members of theOouncilw~represent: <br /> <br />Mr. George R. Cottom <br />Mr. Jose~ L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoc~er <br /> tty L. Th a= n <br /> <br />Absent: CouncilmemberRobertG. Wagner, who wasexx~ed. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams moved approval of the November 20, 1995, minutes as submitted. Mr. <br />COtton seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mayor Majerus did not <br />vote since mb~ missed the meeting due to illness. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus m~ved that Mr. Jay Sushelsky, 7334 Westmoreland Drive, be ap- <br />pointed to the University City Redevelc~ment Authority for a term expiring <br />December 11, 1999. Mrs. Schuman seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus moved the reappointment of Mr. Peter Green, 7139 Waterman, to <br />the Tax Increment Financing Commission and Industrial Development A~thority <br />for a term expiring Ao~gust 27, 2001. Mr. Schocmer seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICe. <br /> <br />Ms. Nancy H. Faufman, newly appointed to t_he Industrial Development Authority <br />and Tax Increment Financing Cc~,mdssion, was given the oath of office by the <br />City Clerk. Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Kaufman, and said she thought serving <br />with these 9roups will be an exciting experience. <br /> <br />SPFCTAT.
