In response
to Mr. Ootton, Mr. Ollendorff said several University City businesses with a
Sunday license z~ this bill, which permits package liquor sales on De-
cember 24 and 31 (if on Sunday) starting at 11 a.m. instead of 1 p.m. (the
current opening time in university city). Mr. Schocmer said it would help the

ty. Mrs. Thompson agreed, saying it would provide consistency with other

vote was as follows: AYES: Oounci~ Schuman, Schoomer, ~nompson, and
Mayor Adams. NAYS: Mr. Cotton. Since an emerg~ bill requires a unani-
mous vote, the bill died.

Mayor Adams wished happy holidays to all, and peace for the world.
journed the meeting at 8:10 p.m.

Head-

Dolores A.
