SESSI(~ 1653 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF ~~~ ~ ~ <br /> <br /> October23, 1995 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Coun- <br />cil chamber of City Hall c~ Monday, October 23, 1995, Mayor Janet Majerus <br />presided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the follc~ing members of tb~ Oouncil were present: <br /> <br />Mr. JceeDh L. ;~ams, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wa~ner <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> <br />Absent: Oounc~l~mbe~ George R. Cotton and City Clerk Dolores A. Miller, <br />both of whom ~ere e~cused. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the Octdm_r 2, 1995, minutes as suhnitted. Mr. <br />· -~ms seoond~d the motion, which carried unan/mously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner move~ the appo/ntment of Mr. Gordon Myers, 7053 Kingsbury, tothe <br />Board of Trustees of the Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Employees Retirement <br />Funds for an unexpired term ending July 1, 1997. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the reappointment of Ms. Karen Ann-Nimmo Palmer, 7507 Wash- <br />ington, to CALOP (O~L,~ttee for Access and ~ Origination Programming) for <br />a term expiring September 9, 1998. Mrs. Schuman seconded, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerusm~vedthereappointments of Mr. Rock~_11 Gray, 415We s gate; Mr. <br />Betrye K. Dew, 7154 Wa~_~hington; and Ms. Lita Pener-Collins, 7029 Etzel, to <br />the Library Board for terms expiring June 30, 1998. Mr. Schocmer seconded <br />the motion, which carriedunanimously. <br /> <br />OAT~.q OF OFF, OR. <br /> <br />Dr. Charles Le~en and Mr. Miles Cramer, both recently reappointed to the <br />Board of Trustees of the Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Employees Retirement <br />Funds, were given the oath of office by Mayor Majerus, who thanked th~ for <br />their willingness to continue serving the city in this way. <br /> <br />Mr. Corey Shapiro, Washington University student representative, said the <br />Chancellor's inauguration weekend was a great success with a large turnout. <br /> <br /> <br />
