Mayor Majerus said it has been many years sinoe the City was able to have a new park, and the new o~e will be very welcome. LOUIS FOR THE ~q~ OF CEREAIN PROPERTY NEAR PARIRIDGE AND RAYM~ID AV~IUES IN UNIVERSITY CITY TO BE USED AS A FJBLIC PARK, AND ~ZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ~VPER INTO AND A bill was introduced by tb~ entire City Council, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AU~40RIZING THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY TO ENTER INTO AND EXE- O3TE A OONTR~ WITH THE MANAGERS OF THE REP~N CATHOLIC ~' AS~ OF ST. I/X/iS FOR T~E ~ OF CEREAIN PROPERTY AT OR NEAR PARTRIDGE AND RAY- ~DND AV~qUES IN UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOORI, TO BE USED AS A I~3BLIC PARK, AND TO IW3RC~ASE SAID PROPERTY THEREFRC~, AND ~RIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANANGER TO ~ INTO AND EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY SUC~ ODNTRACT AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS ~k~ATED THERETO." Mr. Schoomer moved that Council meet in executive session at 8:10 p.m. this date in Roc~ 6 of City Hall for the la/zpose of d/scussing personnel ar~ real estate. Mrs. Schuman seconded the motion. The following roll call vote was taken: AYES: Counci~ ~ompson, Adams, Schuman, ~, and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: ~one. ABSENT: Councilmembers Cotton and Wagner.
