<br /> <br />UNIVERSITY CITYCOUNCIL <br />STUDY SESSION <br />5th floor of City Hall <br />6801 Delmar <br />September 10, 2012 <br /> <br /> <br />th <br />The City Council Study Session was held in the Council Chamber on the 5 floor of City <br />Hall, on September 10, 2012. Mayor Shelley Welsch called the Study Session to order at <br />5:33 p.m. In addition to the Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft arrived at 6:00 p.m. <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Mr. Byron Price <br /> <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Lehman Walker, Community Development Director <br />Andrea Riganti, Deputy Director of Economic Development Ray Lai, and Economic <br />Development Manager Laura Zacher. <br /> <br />The Joint Implementation Committee, JRIC, members: <br /> University City <br /> Marc Jacob, resident, Co-Chair <br /> Mayor Shelley Welsch, City Council Member <br /> Ben Senturia, Plan Commission <br />Rosalind Williams, Economic Development Retail Sales Tax Board Chair <br />Olivette <br /> J. Gregory Carl, Plan Commission <br /> Jean Antoine, City Council Member <br /> Lance Finland, resident <br /> Matthew Hirsch, EDC Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch asked if there were any changes to the agenda of the upcoming session. <br />City Manager Mr. Walker asked to postpone Resolution 2012 – 10 until the next Council <br />Session, September 24, 2012. <br /> <br />The joint study session was to provide both Olivette and University City Councils <br />information concerning a Joint Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement. <br /> <br />Marc Jacob, a University City resident was a co-chair along with Gregory Carl of Olivette. <br />They led the presentation. <br /> <br />Background time line of the Joint Redevelopment: <br />May 2009 Olivette and University City Joint Redevelopment Task Force, JRTF, <br />was established to explore redevelopment opportunities and joint <br />initiatives in I-170/Olive <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
