Mayor Majerus o~ned the public hearing at 7:41 p.m. Mr. F~ Rennet, architect representing Evergreen Developments, said the de- velo~ of this property will be a definits asset to University City. There were ~o other requests to speak and the hearing was closed at 7:43 p.m. Mr. Schoc~er asked that legislation be prepared for the rezoning, but said approval should be delayed until the site plan is presented. Mr. COtton moved approval, and Mrs. ThOmpson seconded the motion. Mrs. Schuman asked if Ms. Wilson will stay on tb~ 7-11 premises. Ms. Wilson said she is Managing Officer for Southland Corporation, but the onsits mana- ger will be a different person; h~ever, she will be responsible for seeing that all liquor laws are obeyed, and will have to answer for any violations.
