Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lieherman said that he was very familiar with Independent Center. He just does not <br /> like the idea of another not-for-profit coming in without paying taxes. <br /> <br /> All voted Aye, exce0t for Mr. Lieherman, who voted Nay. The motion carried six to one. <br /> PERSONNEL REPORT: <br /> <br /> Mayor Adams noted the Personnel Report for the week ending June 18, 1999 and ordered <br /> it filed. <br /> <br /> CITY CLERK'S DO[;KET: <br /> <br /> The Mayor asked to entertain a motion to place an additional resolution on the City Clerk's <br /> docket. The resolution deals with applying for a grant to the Missouri Department of <br /> Natural Resources. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to add the resolution. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - GRANT APPLICATION TO THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCES: <br /> <br />The Mayor explained that this gives the Park Department permission to apply for a grant to <br />the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in an attempt to win funding to help with <br />repairs to the Heman Park Swimming Pool. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval. Mr. Lieherman seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - METROLINK CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS THROUGH U.
