Session 1760 <br />June 21, 1999 <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Ms. Sharpe seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as <br />follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mayor <br />Adams. NAYS: none. Bill Number 8425 passed and became Ordinance Number 6205. <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe introduced a bill, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING <br />SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 10.44.010, <br />THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL <br />TIMES ON THE WEST SIDE OF PARTRIDGE FROM WILLOW TREE LANE TO A <br />POINT 88 FEET SOUTH THEREOF; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned #8426. <br /> <br />A bill was introduced by Mr. ~Munkel, entitled: <br /> <br />2. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING <br /> TO ZONING DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 THEREOF, <br /> AND ENACTING A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, THEREBY AMENDING SAID MAP <br /> SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT 500, 514 AND 518 <br /> NORTH AND SOUTH BOULEVARD FROM PLANNED DEVELOPMENT- <br /> RESIDENTIAL ("PD-R") TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ("HR"), AND <br /> SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT 522,524, 528, 530, <br /> 536, 540 AND 546 NORTH AND SOUTH BOULEVARD FROM SINGLE-FAMILY <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ("SR") TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> ("HR"); CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned #8427. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff stated that the City Clerk received a protest petition, this morning, against <br />this rezoning. The petition has been forwarded to the City's zoning attorney to be reviewed <br />and verified.
