<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Julie Feier City Manager <br /> <br />FROM: Evelyn Shields Benford Public Works Director <br /> <br />DATE: November 28 2006 <br /> <br />RE: Grant Project Agreement STP 5402 (602) Microsurfacing Certain <br /> Arterial Roads <br /> <br /> <br />Attached is a copy of the Agreement for the above referenced federal project If the <br />project is acceptable to the City please return six (6) executed copies of the <br />agreement to me. Also we will need three (3) copies of the enabling ordinance <br />(attached). <br /> <br />This grant funded project consists of microsurfacing the following arterials: 82nd <br />Blvd, Old Bonhomme Rd, Etzel Ave, and Kingsland Ave. The estimated total <br />project cost is $230, 000. The City will contribute 20 percent (or $46,000) and <br />MoDOT will cover 80 percent of the project cost. <br /> <br />The federal funds for construction are programmed for 2009 and will be available <br />for the City’s use on 1/10/08. Therefore, construction work would actually begin <br />during spring 2009. The Department will request funds for this project in the FY08 <br />09 budget. <br /> <br />If you have any comments please let me know. <br /> <br />K-1-a <br /> <br /> <br />
