RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of University City is constructing a parking garage in the Loop <br />Special Business District to provide more parking spaces for customers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parking garage construction is scheduled to be completed by August <br />15, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, that on May 13, 1997, the Loop Special Business District Advisory <br />Commission resolved to advise the City Council to pursue, with St. Louis County, to have the <br />no parking restriction from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Loop Special Business District, on the <br />south side of Delmar, permanently rescinded. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of University City, <br />Missouri directs the City Manager to pursue, with St. Louis County, the following: <br /> <br />Section 1. Permanent rescinding of the no parking restriction from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 <br /> p.m. in the Loop Special Business District on the south side of Delmar. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />To temporarily rescind the no parking requirement on the north side of <br />Delmar, from Eastgate to Westgate during the construction of the parking <br />garage. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution will be effective from and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 1997. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
