Session 1765 MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL September 23, 1999 At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of City Hall on Thursday, September 23, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: Ms. Cassandra Colquitt Mr. Larry Lieberman Mr. Paul Schoomer Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. EXCUSED: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Munkel and City Manager Ollendorff. Also present was Assistant City Manager Gregory Rose. MINUTES: Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the regular session minutes from August 30, 1999. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. APPOINTMENTS: Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Mr. Joe Denigan, 7031 Forsyth, to the Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Retirement Fund Board of Trustees for a term ending July 1, 2003. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Ms. Colquirt moved the appointments of Mr. Tony Credit, 7041 Stanford, to the Plan Commission for an unexpired term ending January 1, 2001 and Mr. Chades DiLeo, 7030 Waterman, to the Board of Adjustment for an unexpired term ending July 7, 2001. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. REAPPOINTMENTS: Mayor Adams moved the reappointments of Mr. Marc Hirshman, Mr. Ken Schuman and Ms. Joanne Ferrante to the Industrial Development Authority for terms ending August 27, 2005 and Mr. Dan Talonn and Dr. Jerrold Lander to the Tax Increment Financing Commission for terms expiring August 19, 2003. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mr. Schoomer moved the reappointments of Ms. Marian Flowers and Mr. Paul Marsh to the Historic Preservation Commission for terms expiring September 9, 2002. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
