Session 1765 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 23, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Thursday, September 23, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the <br />meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the <br />Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Munkel and City Manager Ollendorff. Also present was <br />Assistant City Manager Gregory Rose. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the regular session minutes from August 30, 1999. Mr. <br />Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Mr. Joe Denigan, 7031 Forsyth, to the <br />Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Retirement Fund Board of Trustees for a term ending <br />July 1, 2003. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquirt moved the appointments of Mr. Tony Credit, 7041 Stanford, to the Plan <br />Commission for an unexpired term ending January 1, 2001 and Mr. Chades DiLeo, <br />7030 Waterman, to the Board of Adjustment for an unexpired term ending July 7, 2001. <br />Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointments of Mr. Marc Hirshman, Mr. Ken Schuman and <br />Ms. Joanne Ferrante to the Industrial Development Authority for terms ending August <br />27, 2005 and Mr. Dan Talonn and Dr. Jerrold Lander to the Tax Increment Financing <br />Commission for terms expiring August 19, 2003. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved the reappointments of Ms. Marian Flowers and Mr. Paul Marsh to <br />the Historic Preservation Commission for terms expiring September 9, 2002. Mr. <br />Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
