<br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />January 28, 2013 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, January 28, 2013, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br />In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft was excused <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker... <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker requested the City Clerk to distribute the Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report. He said that the Councilmembers were provided with electronic version of the <br />Annual Audit last week but he felt it was best to distribute a hard copy of the report at this <br />Council meeting because it is very lengthy. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br />Mayor Welsch stated there was a proclamation for Arts and Letters Commission, <br />Returning Artist series awarded to Ms. Saaba Buddenhagen Lutzeler. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch read the proclamation and presented the proclamation to the Chair of Arts <br />& Letters Adelia Parker-Castro. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch also stated that the proclamation would be presented to Ms. Lutzeler at <br />the reception for the Returning Artist Series on February 7, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at the <br />University City High School Library. <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br /> The minutes of January 14, 2013, City Council Regular Session were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br /> Mr. Glickert nominated Scott Eidson to be appointed to the Green Practices <br />Commission, replacing Neville Rapp, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
