Session 1767 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 18, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, October 18, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. EXCUSED: Mr. Lieberman and Mr. <br />Sharpe. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the regular session minutes from October 4, 1999. Ms. <br />Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved the appointment of Mr. John Raney, 6959 Pershing, to the Board of <br />Appeals for a term ending August 1, 2004. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Ms. Jean Dolan, 7521 Kingsbury, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for a term ending September 9, 2002. Mr. Munkel seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />Ms. Meine, the City Clerk, administered the oath of office to the following: <br /> <br />Mr. Kevin Moloney- Board of Appeals <br />Dr. Calla Smorodin - Arts and Letters Commission <br /> <br />Mayor Adams personally thanked both of these citizens for agreeing to serve on these two <br />important commissions. Citizen service really makes the City work and is one of the great <br />hallmarks of University City. <br /> <br /> <br />
