Session 1767 <br />October 18, 1999 <br /> <br />AGENDA #3 - LIQUOR LICENSE - 7930 OLIVE: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff stated that this application was held over pending submission of estimated <br />dollar amounts for food sales and alcoholic beverage sales. This data has been supplied so <br />the Council may proceed to consider the license to sell beer and wine by the drink. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Wagner, Mr. Ollendorff stated that all information requested by Council <br />had been received, so Council may now act on this matter. <br /> <br />The motion to approve carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL REPORT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams noted the personnel report for the week ending October 15, 1999. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8442 - AMENDING CHAPTER 5.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, BY REPEALING SECTION 5.08.240 <br />THEREOF, RELATING TO HOURS OF SALE AND CLOSING - SALE ON <br />SUNDAY, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE <br />KNOWN AS "SECTION 5.08.240 HOURS OF SALE AND CLOSING - SALE OF <br />SUNDAY," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PERMIT <br />RESTAURANT BARS TO SELL INTOXICATING LIQUOR BY THE DRINK AT <br />RETAIL FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES BETWEEN ELEVEN A.M. <br />AND MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Edwards, Blueberry Hill Restaurant, wished to thank the City Council for their <br />consideration of this bill. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
