<br /> <br />Board of Adjustment <br />February 20, 2013 Meeting Minutes <br />(approved 3/20/2013) <br /> <br />A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at the Heman Park <br />Community Center located at 975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes from the January 29, 2013 Board of Adjustment meeting were approved. <br /> <br />2. Case # 13-00862 6526 Plymouth Avenue <br />Paul Meier with Habitat for Humanity St. Louis requested a side yard setback variance for a <br />proposed single family dwelling to maintain a combined side yard setback of eight and two-tenth <br />(8.2) feet in lieu of nine (9) feet for the adjoining side yards of the adjoining lot to the immediate <br />west (addressed as 6528 Plymouth Avenue) as required by Section 34-55.2 of the Zoning Code <br />for the proposed single family dwelling in the SR Single Family Residential District. The <br />variance was approved by a vote of 5 to 0. The Board members noted that it was the location of <br />the adjacent house to the west that generated the request for a variance as it was not necessary for <br />similar proposed construction adjacent to vacant lots to the east. <br /> <br />3. Case # 13-00867 6518 Plymouth Avenue <br />Paul Meier with Habitat for Humanity St. Louis requested a side yard setback variance for a <br />proposed single family dwelling to maintain a combined side yard setback of seven and eight- <br />tenth (7.8) feet in lieu of nine (9) feet for the adjoining side yards of the adjoining lot to the <br />immediate east (addressed as 6514 Plymouth Avenue) as required by Section 34-55.2 of the <br />Zoning Code for the proposed single family dwelling in the SR Single Family Residential <br />District. The variance was approved by a vote of 5 to 0. The Board members noted that it was <br />the location of the adjacent house to the east that generated the request for a variance as it was <br />not necessary for similar proposed construction adjacent to vacant lots to the west. <br /> <br />One member of the public addressed the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />Emma McClure 6529 Plymouth Avenue. Ms. McClure asked if the proposed houses had <br />basements and stated she had concerns about where equipment would be parked during <br />tm; <br /> šE <br /> <br />
